Goodnight Moon

Tonight I had a picnic on the beach at dusk, my favorite part of the day. After it got dark, I noticed a whispy cloud over the lake that was glowing. I couldn't figure out what it was reflecting and then a few minutes later, the moon began to rise out of it like it was sliding out of an envelope. It was a big, orange full moon. The display only kept getting better. I felt like I was at just the right place at the perfect time to see it. Of course the sky probably puts on a show all the time. I'm going to have to make more time for sunrises, moonrises, and sunsets.
