New Car

I bought a new (used) car last week. It's all a part of my strategy for building a new life here in the USA. This strategy also includes getting a new cell phone (done, and if you'd like my number, send me an email), finding a job, getting rid of things that have been in storage for the last 15 months, and getting back on my regular NPR listening schedule.
More about the car; it's a 2002 VW Jetta tdi. The "tdi" means diesel. Therefore I have added to my list "becoming a member of Chicago Biofuels". I can't be as snarky as a Prius driver, but I'll sure be able to look down my nose at SUV pilots. I'll go easy on them since I was an SUV pilot for a few years. I'm just trying to right my wrongs now.

Of course. If I already owned an SUV I would drive it until it died. No need in adding a car payment.
