Betel nuts are chewed all over Asia, but Taiwan has a unique twist on the trade. Betel nut girls, or betel nut beauties work in small kiosks on the side of the road. Normally 3 walls of the kiosk are glass so that passersby can see the girls hard at work wrapping the betel nuts. This flickr gallery documents it well.
