Ron Paul

Some of his ideas are a little strange, and I would be nervous if he were elected, but I know I'm not the only one who is happy that he is there, bringing a little sanity to a party that seems to have none. You hear him say something like "Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11." That might be the truest thing that was said at the Reagan Library all night, yet it was ignored by all of the other candidates. They have to know it's true. Why can't they just admit it?

Employed at Last

My days of endless loafing and TV viewing will soon be over. I was offered a position at Travelers Aid today which I accepted without hesitation. I don't know how to explain the program besides stealing a sentence directly from the brochure. "Travelers' Aid Chicago provides services to stranded or at-risk travelers at O'Hare Airport". I will be working in the airport supervising volunteers and handling crisis situations with travelers. So pending any problems with references and background checks, I'll start in about a week.
